About the CEO/PRESIDENT

As a high school student Jonathan Andrade established himself early as a trendsetter. At that time the era of clashing genres was already beginning, and the younger generations were taking notice. A new street renaissance was born, and as a self-disciplined teenager, he fully immersed himself in this new opportunity.

Jonathan grew up in the San Fernando Valley with his parents and two siblings. Raised with a strong sense of determination, the value of an education and a great work ethic, Jonathan learned these values that would carry him far in the future. While his dream of becoming a fashion designer may have been far-fetched for some, Jonathan had a vision, and he was not discouraged by negativity. Although his parents envisioned a college degree, his determination led them to believe that he has what it takes to make it in this business.

At that point, Jonathan had been interested in graphic design for several years, and finally saw opportunity to use his skills in the growing world of fashion. As a teenager he began working for a few corporations, where he pushed the boundaries of their business by designing unique ads, logos, websites and key branding elements. His self-determination kept him interested in perfecting the art of graphic design, he quickly mastered Photoshop and Dreamweaver.

His first opportunity to test his skills as an entrepreneur was as a high school senior. With his newfound talent, Jonathan produced his first t-shirt, which represented the up and coming style of street wear. That one t-shirt created such a buzz around Chatsworth, and neighboring cities, that Jonathan found himself selling hundreds of t-shirts. With the growing demand, and continuing success, Jonathan decided to take it a step further. While still in high school he decided to open an online store. Stores along the trend setting Melrose Ave, San Francisco, New York and Las Vegas started stocking shirts from The Bureau in 2005. This early success laid the groundwork for what was to come.

At the young age of 21, Jonathan has established himself as an entrepreneurial pioneer in this growing area of fashion and his career continues on a steep uphill climb towards success. With a design vision so original and his strong ambition to be a success in the fashion world he will no doubt prosper in the industry. Jonathan has transformed his small town fashion line into a well-established brand in just a few years. The Bureau continues to bring an out-of-the-box, fresh appearance to the street wear industry. Since 2005, The Bureau has been attracting established well-known music artists, magazines, and business investors. “Rock the Bureau,” the company’s slogan, has becomeprofoundly popular throughout young America. As the CEO of the company, Jonathan would say, “Keep it fresh, ROCK THE BUREAU!”
